Study has always been an important part of Dominican life. God is the primary focus of our study, and so we strive to learn more about Him through the Scriptures and the liturgy of the Church especially. We are also encouraged to study the works of the great Christian writers throughout the ages. Thomas Aquinas, saint, doctor of the Church, and Dominican brother, is always regarded as our "best master."
